1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the TLM Fitness Tracker mobile application ("the App", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information. TLM Fitness Tracker is a personal fitness application that lets you log and track workouts, cardio activities, golf rounds, body weight, and meals.
This policy applies specifically to the TLM Fitness Tracker app and is separate from the general privacy policy of GraniteMind AI. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the data needed to provide the App's features. All data you create belongs to your account and is stored securely on our backend infrastructure (Supabase).
Account information
- Email address — used to create and sign in to your account.
- Account identifier — a unique ID assigned to your account for data association.
Health and fitness data
- Workout logs (exercises, sets, reps, weights).
- Cardio activities (runs, walks, including distance, duration, and pace).
- Golf rounds (scores, holes, putts, and round statistics).
- Body weight entries and related fitness metrics.
Location data
- Precise and approximate location (GPS) — collected only during an active cardio or golf session, to map your route and calculate distance.
- Location is collected in the background (while the App is minimized or the screen is off) only during an active tracked session, so your route continues to record. Background collection stops when the session ends.
Photos
- Meal photos you choose to add for AI-assisted nutrition analysis. Photos are selected using your device's system photo picker; the App does not access your broader photo library.
Technical data
- Basic technical information required for the App to function and stay secure (e.g. session tokens for keeping you logged in).
We do not collect device advertising identifiers, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics tracking inside the App.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide and improve the App's functionality:
- To create and maintain your account and keep you signed in.
- To record, display, and analyze your workouts, cardio, golf rounds, weight, and meals.
- To map your routes and calculate distance and pace during tracked activities.
- To analyze meal photos and provide nutritional estimates.
- To keep your data secure and synced across your sessions.
4. How Your Information Is Stored and Shared
Your data is stored on Supabase, our secure backend and database provider, which acts as a data processor on our behalf. Data is transmitted using encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
Meal photo analysis is performed using Google's Gemini AI service. When you analyze a meal photo, the image is sent securely to the AI service to generate nutritional estimates.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes. Data is shared only with the service providers listed above, strictly to operate the App's features, and only where required by law.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. Your fitness, location, photo, and account data are kept so that your history and progress remain available to you. You can delete your data at any time (see Section 6).
6. Deleting Your Account and Data
You have full control over your data and can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
Option 1 — In the app (recommended):
- Open TLM Fitness Tracker.
- Go to Settings → Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion.
This permanently and irreversibly deletes your account and all associated data, including your workouts, cardio activities, golf rounds, weight entries, meal records, meal photos, and profile.
Option 2 — By email:
You may request deletion by emailing privacy@granitemind.ai with the subject line "Delete My Account" from the email address associated with your account. We will process the request and permanently delete your account and associated data within 30 days.
What is deleted: All workout, cardio, golf, weight, and meal data; all meal photos; your profile; and your account login.
What may be retained: We may retain limited records where required by law (for example, security logs for a short period). These contain no fitness or health content and are deleted on a rolling basis.
7. Data Security
We take the protection of your data seriously and implement appropriate technical measures, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) for all communication between the App and our backend.
- Access controls so that your data is associated with, and accessible only to, your authenticated account.
- Secure, access-controlled backend infrastructure (Supabase).
No system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will act promptly and notify you and the relevant authorities where required by law.
8. Children's Privacy
TLM Fitness Tracker is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to request a copy of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@granitemind.ai. We respond to data rights requests within 30 days.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and post the revised policy at this URL. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
